Set your marker on any crossing of the board to start the game. Switch turns with your opponent, setting one stone per turn. Surround your opponent's stones fully to take them from the board. Dominate more area than your opponent by the end of the game to win. Use strategy to hinder your opponent's moves while extending your own territory. Note that stones are stationary once placed, unless removed. The game ends when both players pass their turns consecutively, indicating no more actions can advantage either side.
