Gomoku

Set your marker on any unoccupied intersection of the board. Try to make a line of 5 pieces in a line, either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. Block your rival from forming their own sequence of five. Take turns placing stones with your competitor until one participant wins in making a line of five. Keep in mind that the match ends immediately when a row of 5 is formed, with no need to cover the entire board.
